Sylvia R.J. Scott has dedicated her career to empowering up-and-coming female professionals all over the world. She is the Founder, CEO, and Creative Director of the Girls’ C.E.O. Connection LLC. Her mission and passion lie in guiding high school girls towards bright and fulfilling futures as self-sufficient entrepreneurs.
Scott is the Colorado Ambassador for WED/Women’s® Entrepreneurship Day.
Scott’s career spans over 25 years and includes work in public relations, non-profit fundraising, conference management, business development and relationship building—all in the name of supporting and collaborating with female entrepreneurs.
While taking MBA courses at night at Babson College, Scott worked for the Center for Women & Enterprise (CWE) in Boston. There she was a Program and the Volunteer manager along with interim Special Event manager.
A move from Boston to Southern California would lead Scott to launch the Realizing a Vision Conferences and join forces with the Inland Empire Women’s Business Center (IEWBC). Between 2016 and 2020, she virtually mentored Afghan women entrepreneurs with the Peace Through Business Program® of the Institute for Economic Empowerment for Women Worldwide. Since 2020, she has worked as a virtual business counselor and workshop presenter for women entrepreneurs and business owners.
Sylvia studied at Babson College’s W. Olin School of Business where she was an MBA candidate concentrating on social entrepreneurship. She holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Tulsa.
